For this weeks blog I chose Conga by Gloria Estefan. I choose this song because it always randomly gets stuck in my head. Like I could not tell you why but randomly throughout my life I will get this song in my head. Do I know all the words? No. So it mostly consists of me singing da da da da DO THE CONGA. But besides that this song is so catchy and so fun. I love the beat that is behind this song and I really like listening to it. It is super fun and makes you want to dance around the kitchen. Like look me in the eyes and tell me this is not a good kitchen dancing song. She like barley sings in this song but the music is so fun it makes you wanna keep listening. Miss Gloria read the assignment with this one. I like how it sounds like Salsa music but mixed with pop. This song is very good and I think I had to listen to it in like 4th grade or something and that apparently made an impact on me. Anyways, if you have never heard this song go listen right now. Put some respect on Gloria's name and give this song a listen while dancing in your kitchen.
Jamie! I have never heard this song before am I crazy haha! But I do like it and I will now make it part of my playlist so thank you for sharing this and selling it! You did a really great job explaining it and I really enjoyed reading it. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI love dancing in the kitchen! Honestly my roommates probably think I'm crazy, but it's okay. I totally agree that this song is great for dancing. I have no idea when I first heard this song either but I swear I hear it everywhere. Well next time I'm in the mood to dance this will definitely be the first song I turn on!
ReplyDeleteI love songs like this!! They are so fun to just groove to and always get me in a good mood. Songs such as this belong in the kitchen. I couldn't agree with you more. But I have songs like that from my childhood too. Never thought the music that we grew up around could have such a big impact in my life but it does!
ReplyDeleteI love the song, "Conga" by Gloria Estefan. Not only is this song super upbeat and fun to listen to, but it is also a song that can be easily danced to. I also like how this song is a more latin/salsa inspired song, but still includes pop. Overall, this is a really fun song that can definitely be played when dancing in the kitchen!
