For the final blog of this class let me tell you, I have been waiting for this one. WAITING TO WRITE ABOUT THIS SONG. For this blog I chose Hey Ya by the one and only Outkast. If you have not heard this masterpiece I think you have been living under a rock. This has been one of my all time favorite songs since I was little. Like literally 6 years old. This song is perfect truly one of the best songs ever made. Andre 3000 did what was needed to make an impact with this song. He is so amazing and he made Hey Ya! What it is. Not only is this song still played when it was made over 20 years ago but it is still LOVED. People from my generation and the generation before love Hey Ya. Everyone loves Hey Ya and rightfully so. The lyrics in this song phenomenal the beat is outstanding. This is the best dance and party songs ever made. Yeah I said it the best ever made. This song has a chokehold on me and I am proud of that. I actually judge people and determine if they are gonna be cool or ...

For this weeks blog I chose Conga by Gloria Estefan. I choose this song because it always randomly gets stuck in my head. Like I could not tell you why but randomly throughout my life I will get this song in my head. Do I know all the words? No. So it mostly consists of me singing da da da da DO THE CONGA. But besides that this song is so catchy and so fun. I love the beat that is behind this song and I really like listening to it. It is super fun and makes you want to dance around the kitchen. Like look me in the eyes and tell me this is not a good kitchen dancing song. She like barley sings in this song but the music is so fun it makes you wanna keep listening. Miss Gloria read the assignment with this one. I like how it sounds like Salsa music but mixed with pop. This song is very good and I think I had to listen to it in like 4th grade or something and that apparently made an impact on me. Anyways, if you have never heard this song go listen right now. Put some respect on Glor...

For this weeks blog I chose the song Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics. There are many reasons why I chose this song but I will start with a memory. When I was a  child we would drive to my aunt's house that was 30 minutes away. For some reason I remember driving home and this song playing on the radio and I had like an out of body experience hearing it. Anyways, I have always LOVED like LOVED this song it is unlike anything I have ever heard. The beginning of this song with the bass gets me high or something I swear, I listen to this song so much. It almost has like a Halloween feel to it and I don't know if that makes sense but it does, and I love Halloween so. This song also sounds like 3 different songs basically and no one can do it like them. I could and I have listened to this song on repeat because like I said I love it. Clearly I love this song deeply and it will always be a favorite of mine. This song is so cool and has a sound like none other. If you have never heard ...

For this week's blog I choose the song Play that Funky Music. I chose this song because I LOVE it. I have always liked this song even as a small child. While this song might not have the most inspirational lyrics they are still good and iconic. My personal favorite part is when they say play that funky music white boy. I think it is so funny because I think it is funny when people mock white people music. And I am white and I think it is so funny. But really, this song is so fun and people of all ages like listening to it. It is super jazzy and funky clearly. I like the guys voice it's super unique and fun. The music in the back is super catchy and this song will always get in my head. I think this song emulates 70's music sound. The beginning with that weird sound gets everyone's attention. This song is so great and I like how it was about roasting white boys. This is one of the most catchy and fun songs and everyone should like this song. If you turn this on in the c...
