Listening Blog 8
For this week's blog I chose Crocodile Rock by Elton John. This is honestly one of my all time favorite songs. I listen to this song in the car all the time, and I force my friends to listen to it with me too. I have loved this song since I was little. My dad is a big Elton John fan so I grew up listening to this song. Me and him still listen to this song together a lot and we always sing it together. I love Elton John he is one of my favorite artists and this is one of his best for sure. This song is so fun, from the very beginning with the piano intro this song has you hooked. And the vocals, his vocal range is insane I don't know how he hits all the high notes but it makes the song so good. This song is iconic and the piano played by Elton is iconic. I think this song will always be a favorite of peoples because of how good it is. I also love the story this song tells and just everything about it. I love this song and I loved getting to listen to it again because it holds such happy memories.
I sure hope your friends don’t hate the song that you’re forcing them to listen to lol. It’s awesome that you connect with your dad with music. It’s also cool that it’s a song that you’ve listen to for a really long time. It’s hard for me to listen to a song for that long.
